Not bad for a debut book. The storyline is a little predictable for my tastes, but that's pretty standard now for crime thrillers these days. It appears the grammar and style have been updated as I did not notice any real glaring errors as some other reviewers mentioned. It looks like there may be a sequel at some point too. Hopefully the author will develop the story a little more to grab the reader better.

This book was not edited for grammar, syntax, spelling or story line. It was inconsistent, shallow, and would not have received a grade above C in a high school English class unless it was for effort or perhaps from a student with challenges. I did not post mood because there was no category for erratic.
How this badly typed copy got past the proof reader I have know idea. Although the story was reasonable all the errors made it frustrating to read. I would be horrified if I had typed a copy like this. Typist and proof reader should be ashamed of themselves.
Hard Read. So many errors! Could not make sense of many of the sentences. Story line was really unbelievable. If your hiding from a threat on your life, you at least change your name! Also, what police department allows civilians to spend days hanging around, using computers, and getting involved with an investigation? None. Will not be reading any more from Erica.
Poor proofreading. Errors in grammar and tense. A few other wrong words too.
Had to download the book again but the grammar was fixed for the most part and storyline changed around. It's so much better this way! Can't wait for the next one!
